It in the details with this lovely romantic NOAH Love Birds Clutch.  It reminds me of the Chinese paper-cutting art and silhouettes. This type of design definitely catches my eye, and draws me in to try and figure out the shapes that are being depicted.  The “love birds” are subtle enough but not too obscure with this dark cranberry fabric over the cream background that is also the same color as the lining.  The contrast is perfectly balanced, love it!

First, a little shout-out to our next President, Barack Obama.  Little known fact - whether or not I’m a supporter of him..it’s kind of neat to know that our President has links to Indonesia, and..I’m part Indonesian. woot woot.  But I guess almost everyone (around the world) can claim some kind of link to him since Barack is a mix of so many different things.

On sale is the Lodis Marrakech small gala clutch. I love, love, love this Lodis Marrakech clutch.  the Marrakech has this exotic bohemian, earthy flavor to it that I really adore. Plus the added texture of the snakeskin kicks it up a notch. I also really like the wave patterned clasp at the top that is in place of a traditional kiss-lock.  You can’t go wrong with this clutch and it will defintely look great after-hours wherever you are.  I only wish I had one (or something like it) while I’m here in Paris.  I’m only a 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants along Des Ternes and 10 minutes from the fabulous Champs-Elysees.  So just like I did in London two weeks ago and Munich last week, I’ll keep my eyes open for the handbags hitting the streets and the stores.  And as usual..I’ll update you all as I go along.

Almost a bit too big to be a clutch, but too small to be a hobo.  This Sondra Roberts ‘SR Squared’ clutch is a perfect clutch when you want a little more room to store your things but want more formality than can be gained with a satchel or hobo style bag. A steal at $40, the SR Squared has a great snakeskin pattern that compliments the gathering at the body of the clutch.  I also really like the cut-out handle.  I can just imagine it being folded and snugly tucked in your arm or super cute and held low with both hands holding the cut-out handle.  Sandra Roberts has designed the SR Squared clutch given us classic colors so that it will match with just about everything.

I missed wallet Wednesday, so I thought I’d make it up but doubling up and having a wallet for Saturday Sale! day.  Right now on sale is the Kate Spade Mirabili Exotic Peggy clutch.  Yes, it’s quite a mouthful for a name, but it is quite a nice wallet.  Kate Spade, in all her understated classiness has created this uniquely staple of a wallet (yes, those two words can go together).  The Mirabili has a clean structured look that Kate Spade is famous for.  At the same time the Mirabili is anything from boring with the slightly raised threaded dots, the golden hued kiss lock, and the metal snap closure with the signature Kate Spade emblem. Not only that..ladies, there’s a very handy removable mirror in the interior of the wallet.  I can’t tell you how many times I wished I had a pocket mirror handy whenever I had a stray hair or something stuck in my teeth.

At any rate, you will be a hit with this wallet.  The great thing is that it also goes perfectly with the darker colors, golden hues, and hardware that so very fashionable now.

Apologies all, I almost forgot, it’s Wallet Wednesday.  A bit late in the day, but here’s your wallet recommendation for Wednesday, the Hobo International ‘Lauren’ double frame clutch (clutch..wallet..it’s all the same today).  If you haven’t noticed, I love Hobo, and hope you do also.  It’s a great brand that produces quality stuff that’s never overdone and never boring.  I personally have this wallet in storage that I bought during the Nordstrom anniversary sale this year, just waiting for my Bosco wallet to break down just enough so I can replace it with the Hobo Lauren wallet.

I love the kiss-lock for the coin purse and magnetic closure, the paisely lining, and the all around convenient size and structure of the great looking wallet.  If you don’t need a wallet now, that’s OK, pick one up now before it’s too late and keep it safe for when you are ready for a change.

Sleek and small the Steve Madden ‘Charlie’ clutch is perfect for a night out.  Wedding season may be over, but now it’s the time for formals, fall and winter black-tie extravaganzas, or office parties.  The Charlie clutch is nicely detailed with the slightly woven triangular pattern that makes it cleanly structured and interesting.  I also like that the Charlie has a hidden chain strap that can be pulled out from the inside of the clutch in case you don’t want to have to carry it in your hands all night (very nice touch Steve).  And above all, the Steve Madden Charlie clutch is great because it looks good, but won’t distract from whatever fabulous outfit you have on ,or your lovely face. =) It’s a win/win situation.

A nice bit of a change from their rectangular shaped clutched this Hobo International ‘Mogano’ clutch has nicely rounded corners giving it almost a modified trapezoid shape.  I’m liking the Hobo Mogano not only for the outside shape, no fuss magnetic closure and button-type detail, but also the (which I will always love) coordinating paisley lining and the compartments on the inside.  The mini coin-purse is ridiculously cute and fits nicely.  And as always, the open pockets, cardholder areas and zippered inside pocket will hold all your essentials.  It will keep your random earring, ring, or button safe and sound.  And..the other great thing, the Mogano is small enough to double as a wallet. =)

Alright, I know Hobo says it’s a “wristlet” but I count this as a clutch as well.  Here’s my favorite clutch that I own myself and love.  The supple leather is soft to the touch and comfortable without looking worn or beat-up.  The Hobo Zoe Wristlet is great because the wrist strap keeps it safe and secure from theft and accidental drops, while being long enough to slide a but up your bent arm to tuck under your arm. As always with Hobo, the inner pockets are flawlessly lined and uniquely matched with a contrasting fabric.  There is an interior zipper and card, bill and cell phone pockets as well with some extra space for a few other necessary items.  This is a perfect clutch that will go with the casual and dressed up you, while being functional all the way through. This green is great to bring you into fall, but there are also other fabulous colors to pick from as well.
